Established in 1982 by Ty and Kiyoko Heineken to house their Mingei and Folk Art collection and offer a conservation service. The Heinekens are the authors of TANSU TRADITIONAL JAPANESE CABINETRY, published in 1980, now in its third edition. During our annual open house visitors are welcome during regular hours, for the rest of the year please email the director to make an appointment.
